Top seniors take the court Friday in (MA) Hall of Fame All-Star game - For those who aren't ready to say goodbye to winter just yet, fear not. There is still more basketball to be played. Three games to be exact. And the three games to be played will be featured on Center Court Friday at the Basketball Hall of Fame, which hosts its 2nd annual Western Mass. Senior All-Star festivities. Sabis (Ma.) defeats Sutton 64-51 in Div III state semi-final - For 30 minutes, it just seemed as if the Sabis International High School boys basketball team was never going to put away the Sutton Sammies. But when Anthony Click scored with a soft left-handed runner on a feed from Andre King with a minute and a half to play in the state semifinals, the Bulldogs knew they were coming back to the DCU Center on Saturday. Sabis Junior Guard Andre King reaches 1,000 Point Club - The points are piling up for Sabis International boys basketball player Andre King. And he still has a season and a half to play. The junior guard joined the 1,000-club Friday night, scoring a career-high 39 points to lead the Bulldogs to an 85-42 win over Ware at Springfield. King is the fourth Sabis player to reach 1,000 points, joining Isiah Wallace, Joehan Forero and Angelo Privette in the club. The 39 points is the most scored by a player in Western Massachusetts this season.
