Chris McCullough getting recruited by Syracuse commit

August 30, 2012

Syracuse locked up 2013 point guard, Tyler Ennis (St. Benedict's Prep/Brampton, Ont.) earlier this month. The 6-foot-2 Ennis won't step on campus as a student until next fall. But that hasn't stopped him from recruiting other players.

Ennis, who's only be committed to the Orange for two weeks, has his sights set on Brewster Academy 2014 power forward Chris McCullough, according to Adam Zagoria of SNY.tv and ZagsBlog.com.

“He said you should come out there and play with me. It’s too early [for a] decision but it could possibly happen,” McCullough told Zagoria.

McCullough, the New York native, took an unofficial visit to Syracuse on Wednesday, following an unofficial visit at Memphis on Monday. The 6-foot-10 forward will also visit West Virginia on Sunday.

It will be tough for Ennis to convince McCullough to join him in the 2-3 zone, as McCullough has a long list of offers, including Arizona, Kansas, Memphis, Indiana, St. John's, UCLA, and Providence. Syracuse has yet to offer the Brewster big man.
