Jared Terrell transfers to Brewster Academy

New Hampshire prep basketball had a big shake up over the weekend, when Expressions Elite 2014 guard Jared Terrell announced he would attend Brewster Academy, transferring from New Hampton.

Terrell made the announcement via his personal Twitter account on Friday evening.

The 6-foot-3 combo guard, although battling an ankle injury, had an impressive summer and added many high Division I offers to his growing list of interested schools.

Boston College, UConn, Providence, DePaul, Iowa State, Miami (FL), UMass, St. John's, Rutgers, Temple, Rhode Island, and Temple have all offered the Weymouth, Mass. native. Terrell ranks No. 49 in the newly-announced 2014 ESPN 60 rankings.

Brewster entered the summer having to replace the likes of Mitch McGary, T.J. Warren, JaKarr Sampson, and Aaron Thomas.

Terrell, Kevin Zabo (Montrose Christian), Kyle Washington (Hotchkiss), and Rob Champion are all heading to Wolfeboro next season.

During the Hall of Fame National Invitational back in July, Salisbury forward Chris McCullough told NEHoopNews.com that he would also attend Brewster this fall, but that has yet to made official.
