Andrew Chrabascz visited the Butler campus this weekend and didn't waste any more time in the recruiting process, committing to head coach Brad Stevens.
NERR's Adam Finkelstein first reported the news on Saturday, as the Cushing forward decided to become one of Butler's first recruits as the program begins the move to the Atlantic 10.
"I visited a couple schools in the fall, just to get a feel for different things," said Chrabascz back in April. "To see if I like city schools or campus-like schools."
The 6-foot-7 Chrabascz told NERR that he fell in love with campus, while on his official visit at Butler.
Chrabascz picked the two-time national runner-up over Davidson, Delaware, UMass, Vermont, St. Bonaventure, and others.
Chrabascz compared himself to Matt Howard, who starred for Stevens from 2007-2011. The newest Butler signee has tremendous footwork and can stretch the floor by running the pick-and-roll or knocking down the mid-range jumper. Although he is undersized at the power forward position, he uses his footwork and strength to grab rebounds and battle bigger defenders in the post.
