Rob Champion is joining the New England prep scene as Brewster Academy post grad in the 2012-2013 season. With the likes of Aaron Thomas, JaKarr Sampson, and Mitch McGary heading to high Division I schools, Jason Smith will have to reload, which means Champion could be a big part of next season. The 6-foot-5 wing hoping to see better competition and elevate his stock. He's already getting better exposure by playing with the New England Playaz 17u team. He's a great shooter, especially off the dribble. Also posses solid athleticism. His talents can be seen in 2eZ's mixtape that was released earlier this week. Champion will need to add some better ball handling at the guard position, as well as work on his defense, which will improve spending a season in the NEPSAC Class AAA. He could also add some strength in his prep season. Overall good kid, who wants to get better.
