If all unfolds perfectly, Ricky Ledo’s family and friends will soon become used to rolling out of this city’s neighborhoods and watching their favorite hoopster strut his stuff.

School team was preparing to take the floor at Rhode Island College’s Murray Center in a game at the National Prep School Invitational. In the last few days leading up to his homecoming, Ledo’s Twitter account was filled with requests for “his people” to flock to the game.

“I’m so excited to play at home and just have my family be able to see me play,” said Ledo, the West End native who has signed a letter of in- tent to play his college ball at Providence College. “I think I strive on when my family and friends come and see me play. That’s one of the joys that I have about playing basketball.”
