Two more 1,000-point scorers in Western Mass hoops

Suddenly, 1,000-point scorers are all the rage.

Two players accomplished the feat last week when Tyrell Springer of Central and Nate Powers of Holyoke Catholic reached the milestone.

There has already been two this week, with a third one possible on Thursday.

Minnechaug junior Lance Hill scored 35 and eclipsed the 1,000-point plateau on Monday in his team’s loss to West Springfield.
