The schools interested in Wilbraham & Monson junior point guard Jaylen Brantley, continues to increase.
On Monday, via Twitter, Brantley confirmed that the University of Georgia was just the latest team to join in on the Brantley sweepstakes.
The sharpshooting point guard has offers from a dozen of other high profile Division I schools.
Syracuse, Louisville, Florida, Georgia Tech, Georgetown, Cincinnati, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Richmond, Rhode Island, Iowa State, and Missouri are all teams that have made offers to Brantley already.
Brantley has visited Georgetown and also Connecticut, however he has yet to receive an offer from the defending national champions.
There are a few interesting schools on this list though. Syracuse is where Brantley’s friend and former BABC teammate, Michael Carter-Williams plays.
Also Iowa State has a commitment from Tilton School star Georges Niang, who also plays for BABC with Brantley.
The Springfield, Mass. native said following last Friday’s win over Suffield Academy, he has no plans yet on deciding, waiting for his senior season to make a choice.
