Its no secret that Kris Dunn will be attending Providence College in 2012. When Dunn and fellow senior, Ricky Ledo, committed to Providence within weeks of each other, PC had captured the basketball worlds attention. Head Coach, Ed Cooley, had made national waves on the recruiting trail. Avid PC fans are getting spoiled this year as one of their prized recruits will be traveling over the border for another game in their backyard.
New London is the first major city for Rhode Islanders traveling south on interstate 95 heading through Connecticut. From Providence, New London is only about 45 minutes away. There are plenty of opporturnities for the die-hard Friar fans to get a glimpse of promising point guard, Kris Dunn if they get in the car and take a drive.
Apparently, it hasn't been enough. Dunn traveled with his New London squad earlier this month to take on one of the state's best in St. Raphael's, leading them to a 66-55 victory, behind Dunn's 32 points.
On February 4th, Providence fans will get another sneak peak, as New London will play against Mount Pleasant at Alumni Hall on their campus.
