Watertown is known for its dribble penetration and 3-point prowess, but the Red Raiders showed they are fully capable of handling things at the defensive end.
Watertown held Burlington’s explosive backcourt tandem of Zach Hurynowicz and Ryan Putney to one point in the first half and rolled to a 76-42 victory last night at home. The victory clinched a tournament berth for the undefeated Red Raiders (10-0) and gave them a three-game cushion in the Middlesex League boys basketball race.
